2,2km 2013

Die Ausstellung "2,2km" war ein besonderes Kooperationsprojekt zwischen der Kunstakademie Karlsruhe und dem Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). Der Titel bezieht sich auf die tatsächliche Distanz zwischen den beiden Institutionen. Das Projekt wurde von Runa Pohl während ihres Studiums am KIT mitorganisiert und co-kuratiert. Ziel war es, einen Dialog zwischen Kunststudierenden und Studierenden der Kunst- und Kulturwissenschaften zu initiieren und die Verbindung zwischen künstlerischer Praxis und theoretischer Reflexion zu stärken. Die Ausstellung fand an beiden Standorten statt und umfasste Arbeiten von Studierenden beider Institutionen. Die Werke reichten von Malerei und Skulptur bis hin zu Video- und Klanginstallationen und reflektierten die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven auf Kunst und deren wissenschaftliche Betrachtung. Begleitend zur Ausstellung fanden Künstlergespräche, Workshops und Führungen statt, die den Austausch zwischen den beiden Institutionen förderten und neue Formen der Zusammenarbeit etablierten.

The exhibition "2.2km" was a special collaborative project between the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The title refers to the actual distance between the two institutions. The project was co-organized and co-curated by Runa Pohl during her studies at KIT. The goal was to initiate a dialogue between art students and students of art and cultural studies, strengthening the connection between artistic practice and theoretical reflection.
